The motors are widely used for driven of machines and equipment such as: Metal cutter, pump, blower, mixing mill, attrition mill. The motor is airtight and cooled by blower. The protection level of the motor is up to IP55, the working mode is continuous. The steel core of stator and rotor are made of high quality electronical engineering shear steel. Stator winding is copper wire coated with enamel insulation. Class F insulated motors. Stator winding is dried vacuum.

Before operating the single and three phase cage rotor motors, Your customers should read carfully the manual and review the technical specifications on the label.
- Ensure the concentricity between the two axes when coupling by joints. Ensure the the parallelism between the two axes if they are driven by pulley and belt. The belt must not be over-stretched to prevent the compression at end of axis, which can adversely affect the bearing
- Joints or pulley must be processed properly Pulley is mounted to axis by heating method or directly mounted to the end of axis.
- It should be noted when mounting pulley to axis and it is necessary to have the support system for end of axis behind the motor in order to avoid damage to ball and other equipment
- The system after coupling joints or pulleys must be coaxial. After coupling, the rotating pulley must be smooth. If the coupling is not good, it will lead to the breakage of the axis.
- The motor is installed in a cool, dry place where is free of steam, chemicals making the decrease in the durability of the motor (except for motor manufactured specially with their own codes)
- Air channel of the single and three phase cage rotor motors (cowls, cooling fins) is not be obstructed
2. Checking before operation
After completion of the installation of single and three phase cage rotor motors, it is required to check under the following steps before operation
2.1. Checking the mechanical part
Mechanical joints must be strong and in accordance with technical requirements such as ensuring the concentricity between the two axes when coupling by joints, ensuring the the parallelism between the two axes if they are driven by pulley and belt. The belt must not be over-stretched to prevent the compression at end of axis, which can adversely affect the bearing
Use any methods to rotate axis of motor at least one round without the obstruction or impact between rotating part and static part
The bolts, screws on the motor and the producer must be tightened
2.2. Check the electrical part
Open the lid of single and three phase cage rotor motor, separate three phases of stator, then use megom 500V to test the insulance between phase and phase; phase and casing. The insulance must be:
If the insulance does not meet requirement, the stator wire should be reheated until reaching a new insulance for the operation of electrical connection
Casing of single and three phase cage rotor motor must be connected to neutral wire of power grid (cool) by earthing bolts attached to the body
Wire when when there is electricity, not touch together
The wires must ensure that the insulation and its cross section is not less than the values given in the following table:

Check the direction of rotation. In order to change the direction of rotation of singe, 3 phase cage rotor motors, it is required to change the joint of 2 of 3 phases of the supply
In case after the startup, the motor runs smoothly, without vibration and strange noise, the motor shall work well. If during the process of operation, occurring one of the above cases, it is necessary to stop machine and check the mechanical part and electrical part. During the operation of the motor, the operator must always observe the working status of the motor to avoid unfortunate circumstances that may occur.
After a period of operation, the motor may stop working for a long time. In this process, the motor must be presevered under the following methods:
Regurlally clean the outside of single and three phase cage rotor motor to remove dirt causing the rust, lossing the beauty of the motor.
Preserve the mortor in a dry place to avoid the external influences such as rain, humid field limit the attenuation of resistor of the stator wires.
Single and three phase cage rotor motor must be checked and replace lubricant periodically after 720 hours of continuous work. For the motor without the lubricator cap (use bearings with lubricator cap), it is necessary to make use of life of bearings (about 20.000 to 30.000 hours)
Regularly check and tighten bolts, screw nuts and add lubricant to ensure the quality of joints
